After the homage to Mr. Kim. he implies that in the coming war to reunify Korea the United States will be struck with nuclear weapons. He then goes on to quote various authors to support his position that neither the United States nor anyone else has been able to prevent the DPRK from achieveing its goals.
"The US refuses to end the state of war with North Korea while keeping combat-ready nuclear-attack forces ready in bases in Japan and South Korea." No, we refuse to hand the Republic of Korea over to the Kim family.

It is about time that someone on the other side expressed the generally unsaid link between the PRC's support for the DPRK and the status of Taiwan.
What also must be considered when reading this article is the utter dispair and destruction caused by this summer's typhoons. The northeast PRC suffered heavily. We must presume in the absence of satellite data that the DPRK suffered as much or more. I have consistently believed that war must come to the Korean Peninsula. Like all megalomaniacs, Mr. Kim believes he is standing in for God and can do no wrong. If the people of the DPRK cannot perform to his exectations then they must suffer.
Having put out so much notice that they will test a nuclear weapon, they must now test or loose much face. some reports have mentioned a tower at the test site. I presume form this that the test will be above ground and that the DPRK will want it to be seen by our intelligence platforms. Given the prevailing winds the Rusians and Japanese will be the recipients of some fallout. There is little chance of these countries preempting nor anyone else. If there is to be war on the Korean Peninsula, it will be Mr. Kim who starts it. God help the Korean people.
